Are both the bands the same ones?
I found one that states it is the pto brake band.
Mine slips when the pto is disengaged. I.E. It works fine when the pto is operating but slips when you stop it. SO the band that hold it stopped is the one that is wore out.

Have you tried to adjust the bands?

Both bands are the same.

I have and one is wore out past adjustment.
I wore out one pto last summer on my NH 850 and purchased a used unit to get me though the summer. Well that one has a bad band in it now.
Checked w/ IH dealer $278 for one new band. Yikes.
Going to find some one who can reline the bands. But in the mean time.

Shimming the end of the band might get it to work temporarily. Be sure there is no metal band component threatening the drum. Letting the implement slow down on its own by not clipping the control lever forward will be kind to the bands (but not slow the machine as rapidly as the brake band will. I never latch it in brake mode with a high inertia bush hog or bailrer with massive fly wheel, unless it is necessary for safety.
