Are the gas caps for starting tank / kero tank different? This is a later F-12 - with twist lock. I see several advertised on E-bay, but don't have my parts book for reference.

Same as letter tractors too?

The F12 with the nested starting tank uses a smaller cap. The rest of the caps are the same size as the later Farmalls H, M & up. I belive the F12 and F20 used a cap with a raised center and the original H & M cap was smooth. Both were lettered "Buy clean Fuel Keep it clean" Of course they have been interchanged for years so who knows for sure?

My F series tractors mostly have the second cap, but without the lettering. Some of them do have the lettering. My H and my BN had the first cap. (they now have the 'safety cap' becuase they are working tractors). My Regular has the first cap, but I know it isn't correct becuase it should have the screw on cap. It must have had the tank replaced at some point.
