I'm rebuilding a Farmall Super A. I've got an early C135 stationary engine that I decided to use in place of the C113 to give me more pto power. The external dimensions are identical. I've already bored out the crank and installed a pilot bearing. Does anybody foresee any problems I might encounter and possible solutions. As simple as it looks, I'm sure somebody has tried this before. Thanks!

I have one I did Charles...it's a 153 off a combine. I am sure a 135 would be easier. My biggest problem was getting a pilot bearing and throw-out bearing to work. I finally took an old shaft from a super C and cut it down. The 153 has no hole in the crank for a pilot bearing.
A 135 may drop right in...but watch that crankshaft. It may or may not work.

Charles: I've never done it, but am thinking of doing the same with my Farmall 130. I think it should work without too much difficulty. As near as I can tell that crank should be your biggest obstical. Perhaps we should e mail and compare notes as well as progress and the results.
