Can anyone help in finding Cam Bearings for an F12? Rice Equip has a hard time and is hit and miss. Just wondered if there was another supply somewhere. Thanks

Call 1-800-922-5632 to see if they have any parts
for your Waukesha engine. Hal

A 113 set will fit a couple of the bearings but the back bearing(I think) was different.I ended up using my old one, which was in good shape. You might go to a machine shop and have them mic the hole and your cam, then order one to fit.You had best have the cam and the hole mic anyway to be sure of the fit.

That's what I had to do on my F14. Shop miked the bores in the block and the journals on the cam and then ordered individual bearings to fit.

The C113 engine used machined bores and didn't have removable cam bearings. Hal

I rebuilt my F12 in 1997 and I remember it having cam bearings. I know NAPA got me the bearings, but they had to pull them out of 2 different sets to get all 3 the right size.
I'm pretty sure I'm remembering correctly...

The F12 used the Waukesha engine and it may have had cam bearings. The A thru the C didn't
have cam bearings and that may have included the Super C and they used their own engine in these tractors. Hal

The F12 only used the Wauki(listed in the TC9-B parts book as the 'FL') for the first couple years, then went to the IH engine(serial#'s 600-608 and 3035 and up). I have the IH engine and I put 4 sleeve assemblies in it from NAPA that their book listed for the 113 and they matched the ones I took out exactly. I used my original rods and cam. It's been running since '97 so I feel confident the parts matched. And it had cam bearings(the parts book lists them for the IH engine as 31185D or 24515d(front) 31186D or 24420D(center) and 31187D or 24516D(rear).

I wonder why they weren't used in the A', B's and C's. Hal

I don't know that one. My knowledge of that series is nil. I've played with the F12 and the Regular of the old style, and the H and Cub of the laters. I don't think I've ever been on the seat of an A,B, or C.

Toro is right, the C-113 cam is set right in the block. I don't know anything about the F-12.
