I have been having carburetor problems with my 1941 Farmall M and upon looking in the carburetor it appears the main jet seat is the problem.

Do any of you experienced carburetor individuals know how one would remove and replace the main jet seat?

I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.

This is a duel fuel carburetor.

According to the I & T shop manual it is a an E12 or an E13 model.

Just got in from outside & looked at the parts blow-up again. You are probably needing the fuel adjustment seat rather than the metering nozzle There are 3 seats listed. # 45141DA for distilate & kerosene- 56646D which is for gasoline- & 355003R1 for gasoline [power improvement package]. Hope this helps.

From what I can see in the TC28 H parts blowup on carbs, all they show is a metering nozzle with tip in the main jet area. On the carb on the SMTA, this nozzle seats on a milled flat in the bowl of the carb. Also shows a gasket part # 47401D, which goes on the nozzle. Hope this helps.
