Can someone tell me if there is a bushing in the end cap of an H starter? It has a wick oiler so it wont have one, right? I do see the one in the nose cone though. Thanks.

Yes there is. To get it out I usually thread a tap into the bushing, clamp the tap in a vice and then gently tap the cover away from the vise being very careful not to break it.

The bushing should not have a hole in it, that way you can install it, and simply drill the hole out thought the oil hole and reinstall the wick.

Yes there is a bushing in both ends. The brush end has a plug covering the bushing. (should have a plug)

I don't remember for sure. Might be easier if you had to drill the hole. Wouldn't have to worry about getting it lined up that way.
