Can anyone tell me best way to remove gear from pto shaft on C Farmall also the gear from drive shaft to belt pulley. Thanks for any help

I guess you are talking about the drive gear for the belt pulley drive that is on the top shaft. That thing is really hard to get off!! I ended up making a puller out of heavy iron to go behind the gear. A bearing separator would work too, but I did not have one of those. The puller I made is similar to one shown elsewhere on this forum recently for removal of the front engine pulley. As to the PTO gear. It should come off fairly easily with a gear puller. Don't try to drive the shaft out. That won't work because the woodruff key will contact the housing and prevent you from driving the shaft out. You will end up damaging something.
