I just restored a 1942 "H" Farmall and a 1950 "M" Farmall. I took them out for the 1st time after putting some gas into them, and both caps were leaking profusely! They were only half full!

Can anyone give me advice on what I can do to stop the gas leaks? I hate to see it ruin the paint job right away.....Do they make new improved caps...or new gaskets or something?

Try using new gaskets first. Get a 23977DD gasket from an IH dealer and see if this fixes the problem.

If this does not, you could get new caps for FREE by sending in the gas cap form.
