In an earlier post I said that trans or t/a was locked up. Got her tore apart. t/a has 3 springs and pins missing in overrunning clutch.Still didn't see anything that should have locked up, so I took top cover off of rear end. All gears in trans look good except the constant mesh gear has a small corner broke off of 1 tooth ( triangle piece about 1/4 inch long at widest point). Took a magnet and went fishing in bottom of trans and pulled out 2 small pieces that had been chewed on pretty good and then pulled out a whole tooth from a big gear, like 1st or 3rd. Jacked up one wheel and turned it over and checked all of the gears, no teeth missing on any of them. Couple of the gears have paint stick markings on them, and by the amount of Blue Goo on all gasket surfaces, I think somebody was in there and didn't clean out the trash before they put it back together again. Put the top back on and shifter in and tried all the gears and everything works like it should so I am going to blame that big tooth for getting it bound up. Is there an aftermarket place to get new ramps and rollers or do you have to go to IH??? T/A clutch looks good but throw out bearing has a little play in it, should probably replace it, don't seem to have any place to grease it. Looks like a few parts and some warmer weather and it'll be ready to start putting it back together. Thanks for listening and all the info , sure i'll have more questions before I get it back together. Chris
