I just put a new exhaust manifold on my 330U and would like to add a straight pipe. How high does the original exhaust system extend off the manifold? I need to know before I cut the pipe.

Consider your hearing when making that decision. I have hearing loss from an H with straight pipe. The original sticks out of the hood about 4 inches.
Use a small diameter muffler inside a chrome pipe to look nice. (it will discolor less if done this way).

Find a 3" diameter Cherry Bomb type muffler. Challenger was on one I have used. Then go to a truck emporium and look for a SS or chrome stack that is 3" ID. Adapted down to the size of your exhaust pipe. (they are different on various utes. so measure your O.D.)
Some Heliarc SS welding and looking and hearing are optimal.

What diameter pipe are you using and where do you find mufflers to fit inside it ?
