Hey everyone have a few questions on a 560.

1. how much Hytran does it hold?
2. is the 450 and 560 clutch the same?
3. does a c-301 hold 9 qaurts of engine oil?
4. what gauge wire schould be used to make a wiring harness? I am looking at 560 with out a moter and the same guy has a 715 gas combine and I want to put the two together and use it for tractor pulling only. but need a clutch and I have a good one from a 450D that got parted out and was woundering if that clutch would work on the 560. I also need to make a wiring harness for it and woundering what gage wire to use. thanks for any help. Justin

No reason why a 361 or 407 won''t work.I know of some 560's running DT 414 ,My next project is a DT466 in my 706 gas got every thing just need to do it.On the 806 manifold the pipe won't quite line up with the hole in the hood on the 560 ,need to make a off set in it or weld up the old hole and make a new one.Right now on my 460 I used the 715 manifold and made a 90 degree up right pipe for now.

According to the parts book I have their the same. You said clutch don't know about the flywheel.I have put two 301 engines off of combines into tractors a diesel into a 560 and a gas into a 460 you will have to find some tractor engine parts to make it work.Post again if you have ?

I'm going to answer some of the questions as best I can with what I know.
If you are pulling the tractor, the amount will be different depending on what you remove to reduce parasitic drag.
Use #00 wires for the battery cables with soldered on ends. Use 10 gauge wire for charging system current loads and the alternator. Use 12 gauge for all else. Use different colors, follow the original color scheeme to prevent hazardous throwing of things in frustration. Use crimp on terminals and shrink tubing to detail the terminals and limit moisture and bending related breakage.

McRed, my book says the 560 holds 16 gallons of Hy-Tran, regardless of whether it has a T/A or Hydra-Touch.
