Just about my luck! I put her back together tonight and fired her up and still have a weep of a leak. Comes out the cap plug on end of hex nut after 4 or 5 minutes running. I have all new orings in there and am at a total loss other than too much wear somewhere. I think I can do this in my sleep as many times as I double checked myself with the picture.
I am considering putting some sort of temporary drive in plug in end of hex nut to stop the mess so I can use it for the 10 to 12 hours I need to. Anything wrong with that?
Any suggestions on what I may have screwed up?

Got to agree with the vet. Something went wrong in the assembly. Very slight possibility that there is some surface scoring where the o-rings seal.

Well thats a good idea BUT it will not work as the pressure will build and blow out eithe there or it will find some where elsa to leak . Ya must have cut or got something out of wack did you lube all pices before putting them in .

Yes, everything dipped in Hy-Tran. Is it unusual to have a valve assy. that is just flat wore beyond its limits.
I am at a loss as to trying to do it again myself. Do not know what I could have done better. Maybe I need to try an IH mechanic.
