I am putting the decals on the '27 Regular and can't find a picture showing 2 decals. The small(1-1/2")'GASOLINE' and the 'Read instruction book for directions on care of air cleaner.'
I know, one on the starting tank and one on the air cleaner. But where?
Hope to pull her out of the shop complete on Saturday...pics to follow soon!!

I have looked at all the original pics that I have and don't see either of those used. Yours should have the Pomona air cleaner with a metal tag. The only ones I see with the instructions decal are tractors with the later IH made air cleaner (the stack comes straight out of the top).
I can see any pics with the gasoline decal either.
I'm guessing they were thrown in with sets because they were used on later tractors. Another thing I see are that the oil level decal is a dark background with light lettering. All the sets I have seen are the opposite.

That was kinda my thought as well. I ordered the early Farmall decal set from Maple-Hunter. It also came with Tank decals that read INTERNATIONAL FARMALL, Not Mc-D. I looked all through the photo archive book and never saw the International decal. I'm going with the Mc-D decal from the later set.

I think those International decals were for export tractors. Depending on what country they were headed for, they could have said "Mccormick
Farmall" or "Deering Farmall" too. Someone must have got ahold of an NOS export decal set and decided to reproduce the decals. Maple-Hunter has nice decals but I have had missing/wrong decals
in sets. I have called them and they sent the right ones to me. Everyone makes mistakes and they are good about making it right.
