Have had constant problems with excessive hydraulic pressure.Found a broken spring in the regulating valve.I replaced with new factory spring and renewed the o-rings. It worked OK for just a few days but now is back to the same problem. The excessive pressure is raising the relief valve and overloading the pump and engine. What is the cure and is this a common problem? It is also causing leaks everywhere.

Chief: I do remember having the same problems Gary outlines in his post, with my 560 with fast hitch. You can also get internal problems within the valve that controls the hitch, as well as draft control linkage problems. The fast hitch does create a few extra problems.

Does this tractor have a quick hitch [2 pt] if it does make sure the lever is not pulled to far back trying to raise the hitch when the clylinder is at the end of the stroke.

There is a stop screw to set to keep from going out of range on the lever.

This happens on my 460 so I just move the lever back a little and it quits.
