I put another set of points in my 330 and re-gapped them and the tractor runs considerably smooth and strong at full throttle. Can anyone tell me what gasket I need between the manifold and exhaust pipe. Is forth gear suppossed to be much slower than fifth gear. I feel that forth gear is really slow.

Hello, Fourth gear on those is a lot slower than fifth. Fifth is a road gear. Where you really notice it is when you have had it on the road and then shift back down into 4th. Our 330 had a pipe up through the hood though I can't remember if that is stock or not. Not sure on the gasket. Good Luck YC
