Spent the last year resurrecting this beast from 50 years of outside living. Replaced almost every seal and gasket everywhere, rebuilt TA, new radiator, POR 15'd both fuel tanks, rebuilt the hydraulic control valves, regulator, and hyd. cylinders, new hyd. lines, replaced clips, bolts, QA pins, etc., lost over the years, all new wiring and gages, rebuilt water pump and distributer parts, main clutch and bearings, paint, and on.

The only things I did not get into were the engine and transmission, fuel pump, and hyd. pump. Thought I had a problem of antifreeze in the oil, but that was a false alarm -- what a relief.

The 400D lives for a future generation!

Very well done looks nice. We have and use all of our Farmalls around the farm here. We have four gas start diesels around here including a SuperMD, 450D, WD9,650D and alot of others that are gas just, counted a total of 15 some restored and some not any were from a B farmall to a 986. We really enjoy using the diesels thou use the 450D for cutting hay and that is a very nice set up. It is always nice to see them diesel restored rather than junked out.

I'm from good old Kansas, the bananna belt of the midwest, at least lately. That's my dad's barn and land. Matter of fact, I took the picture there because the old girl sat out front of that barn for many, many years. Thought it proper, then and now.

She goes in a nice enclosed barn from here on out.

Thanks.

When there restored to the point you got that 400D that impressive that you repalced all the seals and gaskest. I see so may retorations have leaks and grease still on them. Well Done! Andrew
