Nickel content in IH castings?

I am wondering what the nickel content of the castiron used in IH tractors would be, because nickel is used to make castiron stronger. I just read how Chevrolet blocks are not as strong as Oldsmobile blocks because Chevy blocks do not have as much nickel as Olds blocks do. This has me wondering about IH?

Doubt there's any telling what's in them without testing.

That must be why all the racing and pulling engines are built with Olds engines instead of Chevy.

My former landlord worked in the foundry at the Louisville Works, and he said that there was a high percentage of steel--stainless and otherwise--that went into the "recycles" at the foundry. But he never mentioned what the nickel content was, and I just never thought to ask him.
