I am missing the fan shroud on my Super H. I see that there is two diffrent types of shrounds. Ones that went for H's and the other 300, 350. My Super H was made in late 54. what one do I need and where is a good place to get one?
Dave

Parts book shows a different part number for H shourds after H SN 261000+. Super H uses the same one as the late H -- I imagine either will fit. Call Mike Bunck at Steel Wheel Ranch, he will likely have one and know if there is any real difference 785-548-7437.

Believe me, there isn't any difference. Same radiator, same shroud. Very little ahead of the bell housing is different between a late H and a Super.

They likely fit, but the part suffix is different, meaning they are not absolutely identical. Newer parts are usually downward compatible, but in this case the old one has an later suffix (higher alphabetical) than the later. I'll compare my 41 H and 53 Super H sometime.
