hey guys I have a super M that i took apart last summer and awile later I noticed that My super M serial number was 5339 and a good friends super M is 5337 and decided that I schould restore it but the thing is the tractor sat out side 20+ years with the muffler coverd but unfortinally the water ran down the valve cover bolts and seazed up the moter. The pistons are rusted tight and the lifters are rusted tight also, so how do I go about getting this stuff all lose again. thanks any help would be apreceated

What I would do is fill the cylinder with tranny fluid and let it sit a few days. I'm guessing you have pulled the head off since you say things about the rust in there. Tranny fluid for some reason sees to get in and past the rust to loose thing up where any thing else I have tried just sat there and id nothing. I've popped more then one engine loose useing tranny fluid or turpentine. Have 2 on the place that sat for 15-25 years locked up and they run now and I never pulled the head on either one of them
