can"t you just drain the tires should save a lot of weight. It is just a calcium solution in the tires correct?

Bare weight of gas model with pony wheels-6935. Diesel pony 7230 according to Neb tractor test. The 656 wide front is heavy -probably 500 lbs or more. If calcium, add at least 1200 lbs. One set of weights & bolts about 300 lbs. A field ready gas wide front 656 is right around 9000 lbs. People bring them out of field to our dead weight pull & roll on the scale at right around 9000 lbs.

I hauled mine with my 10,000 lb trailer but it was only 30 miles from home. If the tires are loaded you would sure be pushing the limits.

Keith: I should know this,as I had one 20 years ago. I'm thinking shipping weight is right around 7,000 lb. Just picked up specs on 544 from my desk, and it's 6,300 lbs. for the diesel version. I'm thinking 656D will be close to 1,000 lbs. more. If the tractor is loaded up it could be 3,000 lbs. over the 7,000 lbs. I don't know the exact weight on wide front, but I'm thinking 500 lbs over narrow front. I know my brother and I loaded one in a pickup, less wheels and hubs.
