My "A" quit running...it seems to have lost the ignition.
Can anyone send me an internal diagram or a link to an internal diagram for farmall H-4 mag.

Thanks up front,
Tony

You should file and clean those points with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. Set the point gap to .013". Pull the coil wire from the cap and hold within a 1/4" of a good ground on the tractor while someone cranks over the engine with the starter or with the hand crank. Should be a hot blue spark. If you have a good spark then attempt an engine start. You probably should install a new set of points & condenser. If you need to pull the mag from the engine make sure you notice where the rotor is pointing and write it down. The rotor needs to be in this position so your mag will be in time when you reinstall the mag. Don't crank the engine when the mag is removed. Have you tried to start the engine since it quit? It may start if the engine is cold. If it does a good indication of a bad
condenser or coil. Hal
