I have a 4 cyl block with a 3" bore. The oil pressure guage pointing out. (Not to the back). It also has a dip stick tube. The casting number is 6797*D1. Is this a combine block? Can I use it in my Super A?
Thanks

If it was from a baler or power unit it will probably have the starter cutout on the RH side of the block and you will have a halfcircle hole in your bellhousing. It'll work but you will have one less bellhousing bolt ond you should make a plug to keep stuff out of the bellhousing. Jake

They also used these on hay bailers and stationary pumps. There should be a serial # just below #1 spark plug. On my stationary engine casting # is behind the oil filter... HTH

They used a C-113 engine in their earlier combines. Someone may know what those casting numbers are for. Hal
