The new letter series tracrtors, A's-WD's all had a silver colored, heavy duty cloth seat material. Is that available anywhere?

If you want the correct fabric the vice president of the national IHC Collectors, Darrell Darst, uses the original heavy cotton canvas. They are then painted either silver (as I remember them) or black (your choice) and I guess could be left white if desired. He has done a lot of these seats over the years using the correct tools and all three for my Farmalls. The fabric is back under the seat lip just like the origials. If you want contact or other information just send me an email or look in the Harvester Highlights quarterly magazine for his ad. Hal

I don't remember seeing just the fabric for sale. There are tie-on seat covers that, in my opinion, don't look very good. I actually had to buy a complete new seat for my A, which solved the fabric problem. Recently I discovered Seattle Fabrics, I bet they have silver canvas that will do for a Farmall Seat. K&M manufactures new seats and I believe they also do seat restoration.

I had my tractor seat covered at a local furniture
upholstery shop. I'm sure they would have some fabric in silver or could order it. Hal
