In Central Iowa it is $60 ton for big pieces and cars, $100 ton for "prepared" steel (under 3 foot length).

Western/central New York Short $140. a ton Long $70. ton Cars $70. a ton and will be going back down next week or so. My brother-inlaw runs a shredder processor and kind of told me that so i would hurry and clean up before it dropped as here we have had mild weather and the steel is stocked piled so they will drop the price.
