I just got done installing ps on my H but I am not realy satisfied, it turns good but not as fast as I thought that it would or should. I used a new Char-Lynn torq motor and a ps pump from a Isuzu pick up. Would like for it to be able to steer faster. Anyone have any hints?

What size pulleys are you running? You need about 3 gallons per minute for the PS to work its best.

That Isuzu engine probably ran 5000 rpm or so, the H maxes out at 1750-ish...

Probably not enough flow or pressure from that rice burner .

The limit on small pulleys is about 3.5" any less and the reduced contact area of the flanges, and the sharp bend the belt must take are rough on belts, and promote overtightening. You probably need twice the displacement. May your new year be better than you hope for.
