bought a flywheel and bellhousing from a 38 to 39 f-20 to put on my regular. can't find a starter to fit it. can someone help me find something to fit it. been looking for two years.

tried a starter off a 1937 216 chevy, but motor
as to big to fit beteewn frame and block. A friend had a starter for a f-20, it fit ,but it has for his, no id plate on it.I saw a cub starter and thought it look close. but don't know.

Need information from F20 and F30 Guys and Gals---I am disabled and cannot hand crank these tractors.....I would like to have a F30 with elect. start.....is there a kit you buy or just knowing what to buy and where to cut !

I'd almost bet the ranch and the brand that it was designed to use a popular automotive starter. Have you tryed Chevrolet?
