I sometimes reflect and wonder, why me. Out of five of us that used to be hunting anf fishing buddies, even a brother-in-law or two in the bunch, I'm the only one left. Why me?
Thankfully, as the years go by, God brings new friends into our lives. All we gotta do is pick 'em.

Very well said. This year myself I lost 2 brother inlaws, one 58 and one 47 and 2 friends in their 40's. 3 of the 4 were from different forms of cancer. Being in my mid fortys myself this kind of starts driving home the point that A person does have to learn to be thankfull for what they have while they can. I think we all can be a little guilty sometimes of taking things for granted. Merry Christmas everybody and lets keep all in our prayers.

Treat everyday with thanksgiving. I cherish the memories of my grandmother, my dad, my brother and many friends I was fortunate to know who are no longer with us. They have gone on to join that great cloud of witnesses who continue to cheer us on. The communion of saints means a dynamic and on-going relationship with all of us. Merry Christmas to all, and may God continue bless us all.

Seems every year somebody loses someone..... its something that never ends, and something nobody will ever get used to.I myself lost in 05 and 04,and once it happens, you never get over it or forget what happened. However, this is why we should remember those that are with us now....every day is important, dont let time slip away, and you are forced into thinking of what could have been after the fact....The living are the most important things we have....memories of those that are lost are cherished things never to be forgotten either.
Dont take anyone,or any tractor, for granted. For they are only here for a set amount of time.
