Can anyone tell me how much the touch control will lift on a C farmall? I'm putting a 3PH on mine and using the linkage from the touch control, much the same as the worksaver hitch. I have most of it fabbed up and instsalled, but havn't made the drawbars lift arms. I can adjust the amount of lift height by how close or far from the center. If they are stronger than needed I will go with more lift height, but less if needed. Any help appreciated. PS. I have the valve to add a cyl for the lift, but may want to use it for something else, so I would prefer to use the touch control. Thanks, Nat

Others have stated (and I concur) that the hydro pump on a C is modest at best. When used for articulating a 3pt they either lift well for short lift stroke, or only light loads with a stroke of 15-18 inches. Putting a cylinder on the hitch results in similar issues. If large enough to do the job, they are slow slow slow. If small enough to move swiftly, they are wimpy.
A solution may be to use a upper cross shaft with arms that have multiple holes at differing lengths from the anchor point. This would allow the hitch to be adjusted to be powerful and limited in lift height, or long in lift and weak. (or inbetween if several holes were drilled. Tie rod ends from line haul trucks are great on the top of the lift links.
I hope this helps.
