OT A little different, She will not read this or even see it. Today is my Mother's 90th birthday, I am fortunate that her house about 150ft. from mine. She has quit driving at night or in Springfield, but still drives locally in the day time. She is still in the Nursing Home Auxiluary. She has some heart issues but not serious. She cannot hear it thunder, some times her hearing aid doesn't help that much, even so she attends church almost every sunday, and the womens group at church onced a month. All in all she is a great old gal.

Best Birthday Wishes to your mom, Jimmy, and a Merry Christmas to you. I'm just guessing, but I'd say she's pretty lucky to have a son like you. At the rate she's apparently going, she'll probably outlive us all! David

Jimmy, Merry Christmas to you and your mother. A very special BDay to your mother. May you both have a wonderful New Year as well and don't let mom party you too late. Take care and we'll have to get together again next year. Hal

Driving at 90---that sounds scary. Be careful, my Great grandmother (died 13 years ago) was in a bad accident that she caused in 1986, almost killed a motorcyclist, the motorcycle guy was in the hospital for months. After that accident she was put in a nursing home at 87 years old. The family was almost sued, according to my mother.

Congrats to your mother, but I got to tell you. I have a 16 year old daughter that scares the daylights out of me..... ...and everyone she meets.

Hi Hal, we are going to move in on the 12th of Jan. Boy are we ready. And yes I have the snow plow ready to go. But hope I don't need it till I get moved in. You know I don't enjoy the cold as much now it cost so much for heating. kind of takes the fun out of sleding and pushing snow.

You are truly fortunate, Jimmy! Both my parents are going strong at 82-dad and 78-mom. they live in Texas every winter and back home to north Iowa summers so their doing great. We lost my father-in-law this past Thanksgiving at 89 from a stroke but no regrets as he was out raking leaves the day before the stroke. That's the way to be - active to the end!
Happy B'day to her and a very Merry Christmas.

Great to have her close to you Jimmy. I know you have been through it. Glad this weather is being good to you on your appointed rounds. We're cutting wood, feeding cows, having fence built, building a grain bin and feeding system down here south of town so we're keeping busy. Happy birthday to your mom too, Harley and the missus
