At this time I'b like to take the opertunity to wish one and all here at YT, more particularly the Farmall page Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous 2006. Since coming here in 1999 I see many new folks posting that weren't here when I came. Remember, we here at Farmall page have a reputation to uphold. In the past, and I have checked this out, Farmallers have more so than others, taken the time to wish Season's Greetings to their fellow man. This says a lot about the folks here. Most years in the past, tractor discussion all but stopped here at Farmall page on Christmas Eve, in favour of wishing one and all the very best. No other YT forum page even came close to matching us.

This past year, Marg. and I did a bit of travelling, not as much as we would have liked. Going to correct that one in 2006. We met some fantastic Farmall folks. I urge everyone to get out and meet some of the guys you discuss items with here on a regular basis. You will not be sorry.

Yep, All of us have alot to give thanks for. Heck I wasn't supposed to make it my 16th birthday, now I'm past 50 Yeee Haaa!!! Never in my life have I met so many wonderful, helpful people. I bet you can ask just about any question here and just about everyone will go out of their way, spend their time, and help you see your delima through to the end. Tough to find that these days. Many, Many Thanks to all that have helped me on this forum, without you guys, I wouldn't have been able to pull off my latest feats.

Merry Christmas and May God Bless You All,

Same to you Hugh and Family and to all the others on this great forum. We have had kind of a tough year health wise and a few other challenges but continue to be exited about the future. I love talking about Farmalls and I.H history and have been building up my collection of original sales brochures. I really enjoy having these when starting on a project to dream of how it might be when its done. Had the pleasure of meeting I.H. people from all over this year including New Zealand. Have a great and Blessed Christmas and a Hopeful New year. If ever in the far Northwest give me a shout. I will take the time to chat and show you some of the collections in this area. Hugh, A very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous and Happy New Year to you and yours. I would also wish everyone here who gather at these forums the same. It has been a very busy year for me and my family, and as such I haven"t spent as much time here on the Y.T. site as I had in the past, but I hope to get back to being more of a presence, as I have missed you guys and gals immensly. While the farming operation kept me pretty busy this past year along with another part time job (which I need like a hole in the head), I have also been preoccupied with the health issues of the Missus. That had left me with little time to mingle amongst you fine folks here, except for a few sporatic visits to the site. The Missus is progressing fine, and what began as a nightmarish set of circumstances is now becomming very promising and positive. She still has a series of radiation treatments to undergo, but the progosis is good, and she has been deemed for the time being as cancer free. I haven"t shared all this with anyone here but you, Hugh, but for all those who read the post now are made aware of some of what is going on in Mid-Michigan these days. Our family is approaching this Christmas season with much hope and more thanks and gratitude that anyone can imagine. I know our greatest gift has been the healing powers of the Almighty, and the prayers of so many friends and neighbors. I have to say that a miracle has taken place, and my family has been the big beneficiary. My tractors have been sort of dormant for most of the year, but I do plan to get out to the shop and play a lot more in the comming year. This year was to be my last at farming, but it looks more and more like i"ll do it again for at least one more year if the old body holds up. Three of us farmed 3,500 acres, except for an added combine operator and sometime truck driver during the harvest. Its a lot for a 67 yr old geezer, but thats what happens to a guy who is an absolute failure at retirement. To wish you all the best for the Holidays and the forthcomming year is an understatement, as I have been made aware that some blessings are far greater than anything we can imagine here on earth.

Peace to all,
Paul in Mich

Dave: I knew you folks in the Metro Detroit area were working on something. Yesterday morning, about 8am coming out of Detriot heading east on I-94, I noticed the west bound lanes were virtually empty. Usually at that time on Thurs. west bound 3 lanes would be bumper to bumper stop and go. So you were all home working on your Christmas lists, now I have if figured. I'll bet they weren't all looking at plows. Merry Christmas.

Hugh - A very Merry Christmas to you, Marg, and to everyone on the Farmall board!

It was truly a pleasure to meet and have lunch with you and your delightful bride on your way through western NY last summer. As you suggest it's a wonderful thing to meet in person the fine people who frequent this forum.

Have a safe, happy and prosperous new year!! ...Bob

Merry Christmas to Hugh and everybody else on this board, especially Kim for providing this wonder forum. I too am going to be getting a little grand-tractor driver. It is coming with my second little grand-tractor driver. Looking forward to being the grandfather of twins. That is the good news. The bad news is that they will be clear up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I can see a couple of trips up there just to see them and get them started on the "spoiling" phase.

Hugh, I would like to concur with what you have described here this morning. If you decide to come south in 2006 please stop by. I'm only 12 miles off I95. I'm not far from the Susquehanna
River and it then flows into the Chesapeake Bay. Hal from MD

Merry Christmas...Happy Holidays...to all from this corner of Wisconsin. I have to say that one of the highlights of 2005 has been buying my Super M and then discovering YT and all the great people out there. Thank you, YT, and to ALL who have been so helpful. As I wrote once before, when I click in to the forum, I feel as though I've just entered a coffee shop, full of friends. I hope to have the opportunity to meet some of you in person some time.

Speaking of that, I took a "country roads" jaunt yesterday up along the Wisconsin River west of Madtown--a beautiful part of the state. Saw a couple of A's and two M's for sale. Had to stop and examine them, of course, just for fun. I like checking out the serial numbers.

Merry Christmas to all. I look forward to another year of sharing and discovery on Yesterday's Tractors!

Ditto on that Hugh and a Merry Christmas to you and Marge too. I do feel like I am among old frinds here. Hey Hugh, are you gonna be able to make it to Red Power in Ohio this summer? I'm gonna plan to be there again and will have a shelter set up for us to set and visit. And if somebody brings a fridge or two we can have cold drinks!
