Being as how the super A battery is imprisioned by choke, starter, throttle and hydraulic rods, not to mention the gas tank, how is the easiest/best way to remove and install a battery - left side, right side???? Thanks,

I do it the same way as Jim except I use a small wedge instead of wire to keep the clutch petal down and out of the way.

All that ex-racer said plus I also tie clutch pedal down with baler twine or small rope to a frame part such as a cultivator arm. You will have 2 free hands.

I take it out the right side.

Disconnect the hydraulic lever rod and the starter rod, hold the clutch pedal down with one hand and slide the battery out with the other.

It can be done!
