Picked up a trader paper the other day. Didn't look at it till today. Found a add that was placed for a 560 Farmall tractor bad engine $500
Called the number, the guy said it had a hole in the block and a rod was sticking out. Got directions, and off I went after 3 hours driving
found the place. The 560 was setting in the yard
with a for sale tag on it. Got out looked, sure enough it looked bad, the tractor was rough! But
it was what I wanted! The owner came walking up
and said sorry its sold. And some fellow is coming from about 100 miles away and I got to tell him its sold to! Guess who that fellow was? Any body got a rough 560?

Hay Seller, I know of a 560 D, wide front, ppretty straight tractor, TA is solid, has had glow plugs and a bunch of other work. a grandson of the owner let it run out of oil. It locked up. This fellor didn't wan't to sink anymore dollars back into it. Sold it to a guy who "resuues" these old girls from the scrap yard.
He needs about $1500 for it. All it needs is a crank , mains, rods and some one to put it back together.
This ol girl is up in N.E. Texas. The feller who has her now name is Mark. Hollar back at and I will get you his #.
My cell# is 512-577-3837
Later,
John A.
