Looks like a L306to me. You can put right hand blades and run cw if you want just change the belt set-up to turn them cw.

You can't change the rotation without changing the spindles. The blade bolts on the L series are left hand threads. If you change the rotation to clockwise, the blade bolts will not stay tight and the blades may even come off. I had a L59 mower for a long time. Got mixed up once and got the belt on wrong so the rotation was reversed. One of the blades came off in short order, not something you want to happen. Fortunately there was no damage, but there could have been.

I guess im just lucky then as i havent had any problems but i just mow the yard and suppose if you tried higher stuff they could come loose. I always use impact when removing and replacing after sharpening.

Scott, if its 6' cut and off of your SA, it would most likely be L306 A3. I have a copy of the manual if you would like it or you can download it on the Woods website. I have L59 A3 on my SA which the smaller 5' model.

Stan, I bought it for my SA, and am trying to fix it up and get the right mounting stuff and parts for it. I wonder if the mounting is similar to the mount on your rig? Would you have any pictuers to share?

Thank Stan and Gene,

scott#2
