Hello,
I was wanting to get you alls opinion on cab insulation on a 1466 cab. I have a '72 1466 with an IH cab. It is the kind with the doors that are beveled, not flat like most of them were. Anyway all the insulation is gone from inside the cab. Was wondering if replacing it with new would make much difference on the noise level, would it be worth the money. Thanks for your thoughts. YC

Fehr Cab Interiors, Fairbury, Ill. 815-692-3355. Insulation thickness used to be a major selling point, cheaper cabs had 1/2 3/4 inch, warmer, quiter ones had 1 in foam.

A new cab kit will help a bunch along with a new floor mat and get the head liner .

Try Home Depot..... they have all thickness foam, that can be followed with foil pockets of air(i think)tape with foil tape.....leave that way or cover that with wood paneling or 1/4" wood floor under covwring, that looks real good stained and finished.....cost should be less than $200..... Try cheep thick rug on floor....
