Greg: It would help to know model number of the loader in question. The IH 1501 loader manufactured in the 60s would fit just about any 30-40hp utility type tractor. IH even advertised it as a loader that would fit other makes of tractors. There was also an older IH British loader, saw them mainly on 250, 274, 414, 434, etc. They were trip bucket, but a compact and reliable little loader. Most loaders fit numerous tractors, but came with a particular mounting kit for the proposed tractor when new. Finding these kits today is just about impossible. Most however were minor metal fabrications that most any good welding shop can do. My best guess if it fit a 414 it will fit 354, BUT don't be surprised if there is some minor metal fabrication required. Those two tractors were the same basic British design. The kicker here is 414 was totally designed and built in Britain. Not sure about the 354, but some of those later utilities were assembled in Louisville using some US manufactured parts. If you live in Canada your 354 will most likely be British assembled. In the US it could be US assembled. Add to the confusion there has been some cross border shopping. IH were full of these tricks world wide. They believed back then, farmers never traveled, much less guys from different countries would never be discussing these items 24-7. Had they known what we know today, it would have been wise to use different model numbers on decals. Serial number plates will spell it out if you know the code.
