Doing a 52 super M. When did I-H go from the bullet type lights to the round lights? When did they put a switch on the tail light to show red? When did I-H run two wires to the head lights for a ground instead of getting it's ground from mounting lights? I also have a tail light that has a another small red light on top with a silver switch on side of tail light. What does it go on?

My late '52 SM came with the teardrop - or bullet-shaped lights. One hot wire to the lights, with ground through the bracket. I'm not sure about that tail light.

I think the red tail lights were opotional. Half clear and half red. They are very desirible to have if you can find one. Andrew
