Trying to decideon a 4 ft or 5 ft wide bush hog for my 140. I do not want to overload her but the extra width would be nice. What kind of experiences have you guys had with these? Also do you know if King Kutter makes one with a fast hitch?
Thanks

I ordered a Howse brand 5 footer with fast hitch from our IH dealer - Collies Tractor. Works great on the 140.

Mark;

Go with a 5 foot mower, I have one on my 140 and there is plenty of power. Never a problem. Most mower manufacturers have adapters for the fast hitch. I know Woods does for sure.

Get the 5' - you won't be satisfied with a mower that is narrower than the tractor. It'll swing it OK - you might need to adjust it a little lower in the front so it won't be trying to cut the whole circle.
