Friend called today to tell me his load came from Ca. Allis Chalmers 7020 Hi Crop not too bad, 1468 V-8 I.H. that needs to lose the cab and then lots of work ahead, and then a 706 HiClear diesel that is certainly restorable. Front end looks OK, the sheet metal needs lots of help which I can help with, over all has potential. Anybody have the production numbers on the 706 HiClear tractors or at least a ballpark. He plans to keep the tractors so just wants to know about how many there were built. Thanks. Migraine

There's no numbers I've ever seen on the 706 Hi Clears- on these tractors, hi was an option, not a seperate models, and the available IH documentation doesn't go into option numbers.

Are the 706 Hi Clear Tractors as collectiable as the HV's and MV's? What do you think a 706 HC in fair to good condition is worth? Thanks,
Glen

I'd say a 706 is probably rarer than a MV.
