I am a JD guy so bare with me. I am wanting to buy a new seat for my friends 706 for Christmas. His serial number is 34683. The seat I was looking at says it is for tractors below 14500. What is the differance? Will it work? Thanks

the three pice set set will fit just fine but get the good one with the metal bottom and back rest the ones made out of plywood are pure junk and unsafe i have seen the ft mountings pull out of the plywood and you can end up going off the back.

Check with your local farm equipment dealers, see if any of them sell Hy-Capacity brand parts. Hy-Capacity makes the best replacement seats I've ever seen.
