On a model 300, where the 2 hydraulic steel lines go into the pump below and in front of distributor, what kind of gasket or seal is used. Mine is leaking fluid from 1 of the bottom bolts. Part # and can dealer get them ?? Simple unbolt and replace ?? Thanks

It's sealed by a pair of O-rings - one for each port. Replacement is simple - just unbolt the manifold block and replace the O-rings. But figure on losing a couple quarts of hydraulic fluid in the process!

I've found replacement O-rings at the local auto parts store, also at Home Depot. Just take the old ones with you and match 'em up.

Last pair I got (this spring) were about 25 cents apiece.

It does not appear to be leaking from where the lines go in. Either body gasket or bolt o-rings ??

I'd give the O-rings a try first, $2 gamble if that much. If its a gasket then your getting in to some real fun since the problem could be a bad pump and you don't want to here about that price. As I said I'd start with the O-rings first
