Does anyone know if a snow plow blade was ever made to fit a Farmall Super H, or if it is possible to retrofit a blade from another model tractor?

I made my owen up from a 7 and half foot western plow by taking two pices of 3 inch channel and making up a sub frame going back half way on the toqure tube then brackes out of two and half inch pipe going on and angel up to bolt hole on each side with supports off the ft. bolster and and a frame work for the lift cyl. that was one of the angel cyl. shorted the a frame of the plow about a foot to get it closer to the ft. of the tractor made up a spreader bar to go bewteen the sub frame to stiffen it up on the back just before where the pipe go up to the bolts on the transmission housing , i made everything so it was all bolted together except the sub frame the corssbrace is removeable andalso the two pipe braces are removeable by taking out bolts it works real good four sets of wheel weights and a set of chains also made up from two sets of 12x16.5 truck chains ya think that ya got a D 9. Just wished my S/H had live power then it would be great. This whole project only took about three and a half hours from start to plowen snow.

Joe - Don't know if anyone ever made a snow blade specifically for the Super H. But there's probably some out there. Also any blade outfit that fits an H, 300, 350, etc - also an M and it's descendants - would fit a Super H.

All the snow pushers I've seen around here (including the one that came with my Minnie Mo...) are home made. Most generally start with an old 7' or so pickup snow blade, or a small grader blade. The blade is then mounted on a home designed/fabricated frame of some sort.

If there ever was one, it most certainly hasn't been produced in 40+ years, and finding one will be tough. My gut instinct tells me that there probably wasn't a snow blade made specifically for the H or Super H. Any I've ever seen are custom built. Tractors this size would generally have a loader for pushing snow, and the owner would either use a snow bucket or adapt a plow blade to the loader.

This 2/3-1/3 style plow is great and adapts to a bucket loader frame. It cleans about 7' and doesnt push sideways very badly. It also allows the wide side (on the right) to push the second (return) trip cleanly into the weeds.

Use a 2'-6" piece of 3/16 plate steel 10' long.
cut into two pieces one 3'-6" the other 6'-6" get two 8X8s or RR ties. stake the ties down or chain them together at a distance apart to do the next step. Place the metal pieces (one at a time) so that they are supported along the long edges like a bridge ocross the two timbers. Place a block/ramp about 2" lower than the metal edge on one end of the "bridge". Drive a heavy tractor rear wheelup on the block/ramp, and onto the steel between the timbers.
This bends the metal into a nice curve.
Do the other one.
Cut a mating curve on each to allow them to be welded together in a V,(use a single electric lamp and a 2X4 to cast a shadow on them while they are standing up on edge, and mark with soap stone at the shadow line)
Weld 2X3" rectangular tubing to the bottom edge, top edge, and as braces behind forming the middle of the letter A. Weld up brackets to fit your loader, or make a bucket lip clamp to attach it to the bucket directly.
Paint working surface with hopper lube spray paint to shed snow. and remaining with IH red and cream!!!
Enjoy.

As I read this it is an offset v-plow with point of the V being to the left of the center of the tractor?

What do think this would be capable of pushing through on a regular Farm-all H with chains but no weights. A 2 foot heavy snow fall??

Thanks.
