Hey Guys, Come across something I hadn't heard of before and don't think I will get much response in the truck section. I purchased a pickup box trailer that has a International Harvestor Tag and says "Knox" on the tail gate. Makes me say Hmmmmm... So was hoping some of you may know what this means. I beileve the tailgate is original because the sides of the box and tailgate have the same texture kinda like the diamond pattern on steel these days. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Many of the International K model pickups were equipped with the Knox box, even though International produced many of their own boxes with the international logo. Knox used the same rear fenders as the international, but seemed to be a might beefier. Some were smooth steel, while others were square tread steel similar to diamond plate. My Dad had a 1948 KB-2 which had the Knox box

I remember reading an article about them in Red Power Magazine in the past year or so. I don't know which issue to suggest to you.

If you click on the link below, it will take you to RPM's website. You can contact them and they may have a back issue with the article, or you could try one of their forums.
