If this comes up, it"s when I brought my W-4 and WD-6 home on my "new" truck.
If it doesn"t come up, then it"s just a PITA.
I guess it"s getting too late for me!
My pic starts out as a JPG, so I don"t know what happens to it from there. How come I can rebuild an engine, but can"t get this right? Aren"t there step by step directions for this sort of thing?
Gettin" frustrated!
Paul

Sorry to break it to you tractor guy from Japan, but that ain"t no W-6. It"s not even a T-20!
Maybe there"s a problem with your picture host, I think they stole your tractor. LOL

Backus, I do know one thing you need to reduce the size of your photo before you post it on here. Some of us are still using dial up ISP's and slow computors with smaller monitors. Your picture should be around 640 X 480 in that neighbor hood..... :>)

PS. was going to post it to show you but to large

Here is a REAL easy way. Go to photobucket.com and set up a FREE photo album. It is really very easy....heck, I did it. Upload your picture into photobucket and it will stay there until you delete it so you can reuse again and again. Be patient when doing it with dial up as it is a little slow sometimes. When the picture appears in your album, double click it to make it larger. Then right click and select properties from the menu that will appear. Hi-lite the ".jpg" string(address or URL) that appears in the properties box and copy and paste it into the "optional image URL" in the add a reply screen here on the forum after you type your message. It is very easy.

Like so:

The previous was one of the photobucket thumbnails. Here is what it looks like after you double click it and copy the URL.

By the way, I am more impressed with your ability to rebuild an engine than any picture you can post.

Here's moderately step by step:
First step is to get the pics on the net. You can do that by clicking on one of the links in the "Galleries" pane on the left of this page. Just choose the one that seems most appropriate for your photo. Then follow the instructions when you click "Add Your Photo."
After it's up, there are two ways to get in on a post on the forum.
Both start with go to the Gallery, open the picture, right click on it, left click on "Properties." Drag the your curser over the Location (This is the URL, will look like:>Link
Then>Link right click on the backlit URL and click on "Copy."
Then come to the Forum and write your post.If you want to include a single photo with your post just right click in the Optional Image URL and click on "Paste."
If you want to post multiple pics, in the body of your post type [img src=URL]. Substitute < and > for the [] and where I wrote "URL," you instead type in or copy and paste the URL from the "Properties" box for the pic you want.
"So simple, like the jitterbug, it plumb evaded me."

I'm afraid I posted before I read your earlier post saying that you use a Mac. I saw a Mac once, but it wasn't turned on. Kinda leaves me less than qualified to give instructions ;-)
There must be one or two other folks using Apples, maybe one of them'll know.
Good luck, Wm

Thanks William,
I did manage to find a way to copy and paste- quite a few steps, but it worked. (I still don"t know what "properties" are all about) Anyway, the photo host site that I used is tinypic.com, which cowman said he uses, but I wonder if that"s the problem. The URL seems to copy in , but it didn"t come up.

Paul, the url you got appears to be the whole page. You don't want that, only the pic itself. When using tinypic, after you upload there should be tags for you to copy, scroll down the page until you find them.

WilliamF...I know what you mean about Apples. I can tell you though, since I've come from there, that much of the advertising world (ad/art departments at companies and ad agencies, etc.) embraced Apples when they were introduced--largely, I think, because of the Quark Xpress program. This is an incredibly intuitive and powerful desktop publishing program that accounts for many of the books, magazines, catalogs and ads you see today. Mac accommodated that program long before Windows did. Anyway, the two operating systems are very similar from a user's point of view. For some things, Mac is a little easier to use. For others, Windows. I used a Mac at my last job but own Windows at home. That's about as far as my expertise goes. Hope this gives a little perspective.
