Had to get the MD out tonight

After a week of temps running 15 degrees below normal here in northern Indiana, it got to snowing this afternoon. 5" in three hours so far. Had to get out the MD and plow snow, it started right up after cold soaking outside all week. Plowed four driveways, now I'm sitting here drinking coffee trying to thaw out. BBBRRRRR !

I too like those IH gas start diesels. Have an MD, two 450-Ds, and a 650-D. I have owned the MD for about 30 years, put on about 1,500 hours it with no major repairs. But I have never started any of them in temperatures much below 30 degrees.

Hey n9lhm, I have a Super MTA-D 3 Super MD's, 1 MD, and two 450's Diesel's. One 450 is not running to good. Don't you just love the way they sound. I would like to see your MD, and how you've got it set up to plow. Can you post some pix's? I sure like them. finally found my nich in life.

glad your tractor started. plugged ours in at 8 am and of course the 560d didnt want to crank. however the 686 finally started with a half can of ether put out hay, the headed to truck to put fuel in and guess what. can you say jello. i guess thats what you get for getting fuel 2 weeks ago when it was 65degrees. hopefully we can get charger on 560 tomarrow and get it runnin so i can push 10 inches of snow so my wife and mother can get around.
