I guess I have to add my 2 cents worth. I like the new system and I think Kim did a great job. Dick in the Cold Finger Lake region of NYS.

Dan: The same has been happening for me in the past few days. I must admit I like to able to do either, click on an individual post or click on expand. I assumed it has been a short term malfunction. Kim has been tied up with other matters lately, I think we should be patient.

"i dont care for this it makes it hard to figure out who is replying to who"

If you look each reply, the poster being replied to is identified above the reply.

For instance, at the top of your reply to Hugh it says "Re: "i dont mean to complain but" in reply to Hugh MacKay, 12-04-2005"

It would be hard to NOT know who is being replied to.
I don't understand the problem.

It happens to me also. I just sent a message to the Feedback forum to report this.

Kim has made some revisions lately, but for me the site works as it always has, does not expand until I click expand.

I'll revise my statement -- I always use the expand feature to begin with and seldom click on a single response, thus initially I didn't know what you meant -- you are right that you used to be able to click on a single response and it gave the single response and then only the names of the other responders, you had to click on the individual replies to see the other responses -- I never cared for it that way, because it slows down the reading, thus I have always used expand. You can still back out of what you are reading if you need to know the order. The site seems to work a little faster for me since Kim did that. One advantage of the more modern forums is that I can delete an incorrect reply such as my first one. I do that often on RPM when I find my foot in my mouth, here I have to eat my foot.
