I have a 49M. The ignition switch is missing I will purchase one, there are two holes side by side I would like to know what goes in the other hole. Thanks Bob

I believe it is the hole where the crank goes for the shutter on Multi-fuel tractors.

Bob, I think you are referring to the holes in the hydraulic control arm for the belly pump operating rod. If so, the other hole is where the shutter control rod crank is located for tractors with shutters. The switch goes in the hole to the left. Hope this answers your question. Hal

Thanks Jimmy for the post and I thought of that at first but the fuse holder is in the amp gage/light switch box on my tractors. My H and M both have the push-pull ignition switch located on the belly pump control rod support arm. My part catalogs shows the switch in that location also. Hal
