Have to install a new fly wheel/ring gear in my Super A. Have reviewed archives on suggestions, but would like to know of any other tips so as to complete this task in a safe and proper way. I have an engine hoist and several different jacks and a limited experience in this type of operation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

These may be redundant but here they are.
Wedge the axle at the front casting so that the engine and front casting are rigid. Use metal, not wood. Clamp the steering shaft (with wheels straight)so it cannot turn. support the rear of the engine on a dolly that can roll. Support the rear of the trans with solid blocking.
