I know somebody has to have an answeron this...I hope? I have a 403 and I just bought me some heads for the old girl. Now the corn head is an early 743, I guess it's an early one. It has the Round pipe Quik-tach throat. My 403 already has the flat square type Quik-Tach and I am assuming that is the later one. Any way the heads are the style I mentioned first, the pipe type and I got the throat with the heads as well. What I would like to know is the model of the grain head. There is no plate or decal stating the model. I would like to get manuals for these if I can. As always thanks for all the help.

I would think you would want to use the new style feeder house with a 800 series heads and grain table rather than the older 700 series .

I do agree, but what i do is a hobby so the need for the newer style is not as critical. The heads that I have I got a good deal, so that is why I went with them. They are in real good shape so they should last me a very long time no more than I'm going to ues them. But I do agree with you. Thanks,Max

There were grain heads available the 403 from 13 to 18 1/2 feet. They had 2-3 or 4 row corn heads
too. Your local Case/IH dealer can tell you which model you have if you measure the width of
the grain head. They probably will have a manual
too. Hal

Thanks Hal, I should have said in my post, that the heads are from a 715. The parts manuals that I have for the 715 show the heads but make no mention as to the model. Thanks Max
