Can anyone tell me where the drain plug for the rear end is on a Super C. My cousin said that is on the side, but I couldn't find it. Any help would be appreciated. I want to get the oil and any possible water out of it before it freezes this winter. I am going to have to move it, and I don't want to tear something up. Thanks

I believe (if memory serves me right) that it is directly in the center of the differential. I believe it is a plug like the fill plug (that's next to the gearshift). A 1/2 inch 4 sided breaker bar should work. Make sure you have at least a 5 gallon bucket with you, 'cause it will have at least that much in it, plus any water. Refill with a tad under 5 gallons of 80/90 gear oil. The level plug is on the right side of the differential (facing from the rear) about halfway up. Should be smaller (1/4 inch) plug. Good luck and I hope my memory is correct. BobG in VA

BobG, your memory IS correct, the plug is pretty much dead center of the bottom of the differential case. The only reason it would not be obvious is if you've got a lot of greasy crud built up under there. A little scraping and cleaning should expose it.

Thanks, I'll see if I can find it.
