Which tire size should I put on my Super M, 12-38 or 13.6-38? Anyone prefer one over another?

The SM IH sent to Nebraska for testing in 1952
was equiped with 13 X 38 tires same as 14.9 now.
You could get 11 0r 12 X 38 also and 11 or 12 inch wide rims.I think the 13,6 or 14.9 both look okay.

They are identical -- you can't buy new tires labeled 12-38.

12-38 was obsoleted in 1954 and replaced by 13.6 X 38. Nice size tire on a Super M.

13.6x38 replaces the 12-38 I believe. I am pretty sure that was the factory tire.

Around this area most SM I see have 15.5 X 38 and the M's have the 13.6 X 38.
